Layret is a small project in a large iron warehouse. It starts with a clear target: improve the operativity of a warehouse key point. It is about the management area where workers, clients and heavy material converge. The project improves the efficiency building a new piece that is slightly moved in relation to the previous one in order to generate a bigger and safer area for the clients. Materials from the own warehouse are used to assemble the piece in another part of the warehouse. That made the process really fast and easy to build by the own workers of the company, who installed the finished piece in its place in a short time once it was finished, so it didn’t alter the usual operation of the company.

Layret és un micro-projecte dins d’un gran magatzem de ferro. Neix amb una necessitat molt clara: millorar el funcionament d’un punt estratègic del magatzem. Es tracta de la seva zona de gestió, on conflueixen treballadors, clients i material pesat. Layret millora l’eficiència d’aquesta confluència amb un petit canvi de posició respecte l’anterior i dirigint els clients cap a una zona segura. Els materials del propi magatzem i el muntatge en una altra zona del mateix pel posterior traslat, han permès que sigui un procés ràpid i fàcil per no alterar el ritme de treball durant el procés d’execució.
