This refurbishment project is outlined to solve some accessibility issues and to modify some of the main spaces of the apartment. We open the kitchen up to the corridor space to provide it with more room and luminosity. Contrarily, the bathroom is kept as a private and closed piece. We preserve the traditional hydraulic tiles on the floor, and we fill empty spaces with matching tiles. The separation between new and old pavement is highlighted with darker tones to break the linearity of the hallway and add some rhythm to the apartment.
